A physician by training, Dirk is passionate about making an impact in healthcare innovations that save lives. He has spent most of his career spanning over 20 years in healthcare operational and advisory experience in Europe with a focus on pharma/biotech and MedTech. His previous professional experiences include CFO and Co-Founder at Dynamic Biosensors GmbH (acquired by Bruker Corp.); Project Leader at L.E.K. Consulting and Novumed Life Science Consulting (now part of EY); and Manager Strategic Planning and Business Development at Novartis.
Dirk holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and an MD/PhD from Heidelberg University.
